The growth and spread of plants are unpredictable. The series of work was inspired by the subtle changes I observed daily. The works manifest the transformation of creatures from the figurative to the abstract. Various techniques were experimented with to reveal different possibilities in form. The process began with extracting and replicating plant elements, focusing on the natural rhythms and patterns of growth. Gradually, decorative aspects were stripped away, revealing the essence of the plant in its most primal form. By the third and fourth piece, only the purest elements remained, allowing the work to convey the colourless vitality of life itself, a depiction of raw, unembellished form.
