Daydream, 2023

Glass is fragile, much like I was during an epileptic seizure. In these moments, a clear yet blurred barrier forms between me and the outside world, with a sense of vulnerability as the body feels constrained by invisible forces. In the process of creation, glass bends and intertwines, forming delicate connections with itself. As the material expands and contracts, it generates subtle sounds, a kind of dialogue between its fragility and strength. This inherent vulnerability of glass resonates deeply with me, forging an intimate connection between myself and the work. These pieces of wearable sculptures represent an imaginative portrayal of the electrical currents that cause the expansion and contraction of blood vessels, serving as a record of this experience.
