Having lived between China and the UK for the past fifteen years, my practice is shaped by experiences of migration, displacement, and the continual search for belonging. As an only child navigating major life decisions independently, I have become increasingly aware of how a single choice can generate entirely different futures.

Glass casting serves as a means of preserving suspended moments of transition. Through the material's ability to capture and solidify a fleeting state, I explore the psychological tension of uncertainty, solitude, and decision-making, reflecting on the irreversible choices that shape identity and determine the course of a life.
